About the Book
The SDG Edition documents the 22 artists selected by BitBasel's CryptoArt for Impact and Innovation Challenge. Each artist created work addressing one or more of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Their artwork was inscribed on NanoFiche archival discs and launched to the Moon aboard the Intuitive Machines Odysseus lander on February 22, 2024.
The book features four narrative chapters covering the founding of the Lunaprise Moon Museum, the launch from Kennedy Space Center, the NanoFiche preservation technology, and the connection to NASA's Artemis program. Each of the 22 artists receives a full biographical spread and a full-page reproduction of their artwork. The volume includes NASA mission photography, official UN SDG icons, and complete technical specifications of the Lunaprise payload.
